It matured for just over 14 full years in a sherry butt cask before being bottled at a hefty 56. 5% ABV. A total of only 340 bottles were bottled for the Japanese market. This third party bottling is one of the few where Macallan is still listed as the distillery on the label. Only one bottle per person and household.
